Banana Crumble Recipe

So this recipe was sort of impromptu and does not really have an exact measurement of ingredients because like I mentioned, an impromptu moment. Feel free to adjust the measurements accordingly.

 

My mom was hosting an Eid feast for our neighbours and friends, so I decided to help out for the dessert section. To be honest, I thought it would be a bit redundant serving our baked goods year after year, so I made a banana crumble instead.

 

Here are the ingredients:



12 large pieces banana⁣⁣
2 TB cinnamon or more (optional )⁣⁣
1/4 cup water ⁣⁣
1.5 cup of nuts (2 different nuts of your choice⁣⁣)
1.5 cup rolled oats ⁣⁣
1/2 cup oil⁣⁣
1/2 cup pure maple syrup⁣⁣ and bit more for the bananas

 

1. Pour in chopped bananas, cinnamon, pure maple syrup (optional) and water into a pan and heat up until bananas are cooked and soft. Let cool.

 

2. Chop up your nuts and add in into a another bowl. Add in the rolled oats, oil and pure maple syrup and mix thoroughly.

 

3. Heat up your oven to 170'c and spread the nut mixture evenly onto a pan. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Make sure you check in from time to time and mix the nut mixture so that they don't burn.

 

4. Pour the bananas into your dish and pour in the nut crumble on top. Enjoy with ice cream and nut butter to bring this healthy yummy treat to an extra sinful one!
